Diego MendezTorres makes his debut in the demanding Late Model category at the Pepsi Firecracker 400 at Tri-County Speedway, finishing 13th.

Hudson, NC – Mexican driver Diego MendezTorres (#24 Chevy – Carroll Speedshop) took an important step in his racing career by making his debut in the Late Model Stock category during the prestigious Pepsi Firecracker 400 at Tri-County Speedway, one of the most competitive ovals in North Carolina. In his first experience in this high-level category, MendezTorres showed adaptation and pace, completing the race distance and crossing the finish line in 13th place.
It was an incredible experience. I knew the level of competition in Late Model is very high, but I'm left with many lessons and the satisfaction of having finished the race. This is just the beginning, and each lap brings me closer to where I want to be.

This debut in the Pepsi Firecracker 400 marks the beginning of a new era for Mendez Torres, who will continue his development in American motorsports, proudly representing Mexico on every track.
